THE BUILDING PERMIT PROCESS –

 

What you should know!

 

• Once you decided to build on your property we advise you hiring a licenced Architect or a more affordable Architectural Technologist or Registered Designer, whichever is most suitable to your needs.

• If you are demolishing and starting from scratch you will need a recent survey
or plan. If you are renovating, your designer will need
to carry out site measurements to produce as built plans.

• The next stage is the conceptual schematic designs where the designer will work with you to turn your ideas into a workable layout.

• Before any permit
